The diabolical Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (F.A.C.E.) of 1994 was designed to protect the criminal abortion industry by cruelly punishing anti-abortion rescuers who peacefully intervene on behalf of preborn children. It should be repealed!

F.A.C.E. (Public 103-259, 18 USC 248) allows courts to sentence anti-abortion rescuers to 6 months (for a first offense) and 18 months (for a subsequent offense) in prison, merely for standing, sitting or laying down in the path of a woman who intends to murder her preborn child. Under certain circumstances the penalty may be as much as 10 years in prison! Pro-abortion courts already unjustly characterize anti-abortion rescuers as trespassers. We should not give them an additional weapon in the form of this bombastic and obviously targeted Federal law.
Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) has submitted HR5577, The FACE Act Repeal Act of 2025 to the US House of Representatives. Similar legislation is pending in the US Senate.
