Dear Friends for Life,

My wife, Joan, continues to ask that no one write her or send her commissary while she is in prison, making this more of an opportunity for her to pray “like a Cloistered Carmelite sister” and be able to offer reparations for our sins and especially the sin of abortion.

I have asked her for this slight amendment to her request as she nears one year in prison.  For those who have a great desire to write or send support that they also find out about the small apostolate she began called Gloria Dei.  Gloria Dei has a few full-time members who live very simply, completely off of gifts given to them. They often sleep in shelters and are doing full-time pro-life work praying in front of Planned Parenthood or other abortionists’ offices as well as joining marches.

Some are in prison, like Joan, for peacefully entering abortion death camps.

Gloria Dei is not incorporated yet. Gloria Dei does not have a bank account. Gloria Dei is not tax deductible. If you want to offer any financial support please write or email (see below) and we will have further details.

As Joan said when she was condemned for trying to stop a late-term abortionist and immediately incarcerated on Sept. 15th last year, when I asked her what to tell people, she responded, “Pray, and do what God tells you to do.”

Gloria Dei is a prayerful apostolate and anyone wishing to pray to end abortion can be an associate member.

To join or inquire about Gloria Dei, Joan’s story, and receive updates on Joan and other prolife rescuers in jail, please write to:

God bless you, and in particular, God bless all your prolife work.

Peace,

Christopher Bell
